How can a doula help you and your family?
The role of doulas in Maltese and Gozitan maternity care
Trained professional childbirth assistants, called doulas, are increasingly present in Malta and Gozo. In response to the need for a safe, healthy and satisfying birth.
Doulas play a positive role in maternity care and in the process of starting a family. They form a collaborative and complementary team with other health care providers to ensure a lasting positive impact on the well-being of the entire family.
